About this role

We are looking for a driven Senior Associate to join our growing Outsourced CFO team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advisory services and making a positive impact on their growth journeys.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist SME clients with outsourced finance functions, including cashflow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and analyse management reports, including KPIs and variance analysis.
  • Preparation of SPFS and GPFS, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation and assistance with Corporate Tax Compliance, including company tax return, BAS, payroll tax and FBT returns.
  • Opportunity to contribute to special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, or funding initiatives.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, including banks, investors, and business owners, to communicate financial insights effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Work effectively with directors and partners, and facilitate training for the junior team members

 

Skills & experience

You’ll be an all-rounder, responsive and reliable. Your passion for understanding your clients’ businesses will see you go beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience in business advisory services within a chartered accounting environment
  • CA qualified 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Able to adapt and learn quickly
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Xero, Excel. Previous experience with SAP or Netsuite is a plus, but not required.
