About this role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our high-performing Valuations team in Sydney.

This team offers an environment in which you can stand out, be recognised, and make a difference. You will apply your experience and knowledge to deliver commercially-focused valuations solutions on a wide range of challenging, exciting projects, working as part of an established and supportive team of experts in their field. Our varied projects portfolio extends from quality start-up firms to international multi-billion infrastructure assets, offering a diverse learning platform and broad exposure for a self-motivated member looking to truly define their career.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality accounting valuation reports and advice
  • Undertake robust accounting valuation assessments based on the full range of valuation methodologies
  • Valuations research offering value-added insights into comparable companies and transactions, industry trends and market conditions
  • Assist in the compilation of Independent Expert Reports (or Fairness opinions)
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and clients and participate in business development activities

Skills and experience

The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $115,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation. 

Required

  • Tertiary and / or professional qualification(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
  • Accounting valuations experience, ideally gained within an accounting, boutique valuations or investment firm setting
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Autonomous working style with a sense of ownership and pride in what you do
  • Conscientious with high degree of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and dedication to producing high-quality work
