As an Insolvency Administrator / Bookkeeper, you will be integral to this growth by providing vital ‘behind-the-scenes’ support to our market-leading national Restructuring Advisory team: ensuring efficiency, seamlessness and integrity of our service offering.

This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, with hybrid and flexible working options available.

Key responsibilities

  • Setup, maintenance and management of Insol6 insolvency software including creation and allocation of jobs / tasks, as well as managing accounts, payments and forms
  • ASIC document preparation and lodgement through Liquidators Portal 505s, AARs and EARs, etc. and monitoring of lodgements, maintenance of Liquidators Portal, Regulatory Portal and PNW Notices website, and maintenance / preparation of other statements, schedules and registers
  • Preparation, lodgement and monitoring of lodgements of ATO forms for incapacitated entities and business activity statements (BAS), as well as liaising with ATO to monitor GST refunds and other associated tasks on ATO Portal
  • Management of archive records and payment of invoices for records in storage
  • Contribute to national processes, systems and continuous improvement measures for Restructuring Advisory, and contribute to Risk Management Action Plans (MAPs) as required

Skills and experience

Required

  • Significant accounts and / or bookkeeping experience
  • Highly organised, with excellent timekeeping skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
  • Conscientious with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience using accounting systems such as MYOB, Xero, and Insol6, as well as use of ATO / ASIC and other portals (or the ability to learn)

Desirable

  • Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
