About this role
Make a true difference as a Senior Associate in our collaborative, successful Mergers and Acquisitions team in Sydney.
You’ll apply your analytical skills and commercial acumen in delivering pragmatic M&A solutions to a varied client base, playing a key role in many challenging and exciting projects. You will provide bespoke advice to stakeholders on a wide range of transactions – including acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings and financial modelling – while building trust with clients and guiding them through a crucial time in their business’ journey.

Key responsibilities
- Work as part of a team on client engagements, seeing financial transactions from beginning to end
- Prepare key deal documents, including Information memorandums, valuation materials and financial models
- Review and interpret financial statements and other financial data.
- Undertake assignments, including acquisitions, divestments, capital raising and financial modelling.
- Support business development meetings with prospective clients including preparation of proposals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Actively build a professional network and attend networking events
Skills and experience
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000 AUD per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
- CA / CPA or CFA certification or other relevant overseas qualification, or currently studying (near completion)
- Strong financial analysis skills and a keen interest in M&A transactions
- Excellent written and spoken communication and report-writing skills
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
- Intermediate to advanced IT competency, including strong skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
