About this role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Quality & Excellence team as an Executive Assistant and Compliance Analyst. This dual-role is designed for a dynamic professional who can seamlessly support our leadership team while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Executive Assistant Responsibilities

  • EA support for leaders of the team including assistance with meeting schedules, travel booking, expenses, reports and other correspondence
  • Assist with co-ordination of meetings and correspondence with external suppliers such as lawyers, insurers and professional bodies
  • Assist with the preparation, collation and follow up of board papers and action items for quarterly Board Committee meetings
  • Other ad hoc assistance as needed

Compliance Analyst Responsibilities

  • Review compliance registers to ensure completeness and accuracy of requests before promoting to the relevant Quality and Excellence team member
  • Participate in the active resolution of compliance requests
  • Assist with the compliance monitoring and testing programs for the Risk and Compliance team
  • Contribute to the preparation of compliance reports for management, executive leadership and board committees
  • Work with various teams to coordinate periodic regulatory reporting
  • Support the Risk and Compliance team with the ongoing maintenance of the firm’s registered documents including policies, protocols, manuals etc.
  • Investigate and analyse regulatory changes which impact the business and recommend controls to ensure relevant regulatory obligations are met
  • Assist with the review and refinement of compliance training materials and help to monitor training delivery           

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information[AA1]
