  • Preparation of accounts, BAS, FBT, payroll tax returns and other compliance matters for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies
  • Assisting with tax advisory work
  • Liaising with the ATO on a regular basis on a range of matters, including seeking remission of ATO penalties and interest
  • Build and maintain strong relationships as part of an effective client service delivery team
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to wider firm initiatives across the business

Skills & experience

  • At least 2 year’s taxation accounting experience within a chartered accounting environment
  • University degree or professional qualification in accounting
  • Already hold CA or CTA professional accreditation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment and be adaptable to work across multiple managers
  • Experience in the use of Xero accounting software will be highly regarded

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $82,000 AUD per annum inclusive of superannuation, dependent on experience and skillset.
