About this role
This opportunity is to join a rapidly growing CFO Advisory practice within our Private Business Tax and Advisory Group. The group supports clients with accounting and reporting challenges, including ESG and non-financial reporting, and provides a range of hands-on support services to finance teams.
The team is dynamic and entrepreneurial with a tight-knit culture and, above all, a strong sense of fun. Working directly with partners and directors, you will play a critical role in our growth by building strong client relationships, producing high quality deliverables, and identifying potential target clients. You will learn a great deal and be exposed to senior client teams across our broad client base.
Key responsibilities
- Participating in the strategic growth of the practice by identifying key targets, potential new service offerings and opportunities for expansion
- Proactively leading the planning, approach, risk management and delivery of engagements, including enabling managers and junior staff, WIP monitoring and making associated commercial decisions
- Reviewing client deliverables, delegating, and overseeing preparation and managing executive review
- Leading business development activities, maintaining strong client and internal networks and developing strategic plans for key accounts and areas of focus
- Leading the development of proposals

Skills & experience
You will be motivated, organised and keen to make a contribution. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of executing under pressure
- Strong report writing and communication skills and a history of delivering tailored, high-quality advice
- An ability to generate new client work and a strong existing relationship network
- A strong track record in delivering findings, observations, and advice to clients
- Ability to build and lead teams in a diverse and inclusive manner
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
