About the Role
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for you to join this high performing team of experts, where your knowledge and commitment to the highest standards of technical expertise will be valued. You will work across a diverse client base ranging from major corporates to large, privately owned groups and multinationals. Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include:
Research and assistance with tax consulting advice and applying legislation (including Consolidations, Capital Gains Tax and Small Business Concessions, utilisation of losses, Family Trust Elections and International Tax rules).
Advising clients on tax risk management, ATO disputes and preparation of expert reports
Undertaking tax reviews of client prepared files
Preparation of income tax returns for large and SME groups with multiple business structures including Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Business Owners
Management of related party loans, tax planning and structuring advice
Skills and experience
Building on your strong tax knowledge and expertise providing desirable client outcomes, this is a fantastic opportunity to continue to grow your career in a leading Tax Team. Your client-centric approach to building relationships and understanding your clients’ businesses will see you go beyond addressing technical issues to developing actionable growth recommendations. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:
A Business, Accounting, Commerce or Law Degree
Be CA/CPA qualified or near qualification
2+ years’ experience and a keen interest in Tax
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent client relationship, written and verbal skills
Formation and presentation of technical advice
Strong work ethic and a genuine interest in your clients
Great organisation and co-ordination skills
Ability to develop and mentor junior staff
A team player who values inclusion, collaboration and personal growth
