About this role

A unique opportunity has become available for a Senior Associate to join our growing Melbourne Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on client engagements, seeing financial transactions from beginning to end
• Prepare key deal documents, including Information memorandums, valuation materials and financial models
• Review and interpret financial statements and other financial data.
• Undertake assignments, including acquisitions, divestments, capital raising and financial modelling.
• Support business development meetings with prospective clients including preparation of proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
• Actively build a professional network and attend networking events

Skills and experience

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 AUD per annum, inclusive of superannuation.

• CA / CPA or CFA certification or other relevant overseas qualification, or currently studying (near completion)
• Significant experience gained in a corporate finance environment
• Commercial acumen including strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication and report-writing skills
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
