About this role
We are looking for experienced financial modellers to join our Financial Modelling team as a Senior Associate or Manager. This role can be based from Melbourne or Sydney.
As part of a collaborative, sociable team of well-regarded professionals, you will advise and support on all aspects of business modelling and analysis on a broad range of engagements, enabling our clients to make informed decisions.
Your client group will include a diverse range of blue-chip organisations, including private equity firms, leading infrastructure funds, mid-size corporates and the public sector. High live deal flow means that our team members can also get involved in other aspects of transactions where desired, supporting our mergers and acquisitions, debt and project finance teams.
In return, we can offer significant growth potential, enjoying the benefits of working within a small, close-knit team while still being part of a larger international firm – with scope to build experience outside of your core remit, as well as travel opportunities both within Australia and overseas.

- Develop financial feasibility studies and financial and commercial investment cases, providing general advice to private and public sector clients
- Understand client requirements, map key processes, design and build financial models, and deliver final output
Skills and experience
You have a passion for applying your knowledge of financial analysis to help business leaders make data-driven decisions. With a customer-centric, outcome-focused approach and keen commercial acumen, you can guide clients through the modelling process, finding practical solutions to challenges and managing expectations, so that stakeholders clearly understand and tangibly benefit from the results.
- University degree in a related discipline, such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance and / or relevant professional qualification(s)
- Experience building, maintaining and reviewing financial models in a commercial setting
- Credible track record of structured finance transactions (project finance experience desirable)
- Strong interest in business development and client engagement
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as competency in other Microsoft Office software
If you’re interested in this role but don’t feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
